I sell new &amp; vintage children clothing, as well as other misc things.<br /><br />I love the idea of the store, but, like many eBay store owners I am unhappy with the lack of traffic to my store. no traffic = no sales! So on my mission to drive more traffic to my store I have done a lot of research and have come across a bunch of good and new ideas. Which I will be posting here on this blog weekly. The first one being blogging!<br /><br />If you are like me, and are sick and tired of paying eBay fees for a store that nothing is selling out of then it's time to drive traffic to your eBay store. In fact, don't even wait that long! If you are a newbie and are reading this or you are someone even remotely interested in opening an eBay store, know this, you MUST figure out &amp; set-up different ways to drive traffic to your Basic eBay store. If you open up a store and do not have Auctions going at all times with items that are in your Basic store, (also another tip) do not expect that you are just going to sell items! The way eBay has things set up on their main page is not in favor for the average eBay store. Most people that go on the eBay site to search for items don't search through the eBay stores, they search through the auction listings. Therefore, a simple and free way of generating more traffic is to start blogging or so "people" say so I am going to try it here. I will keep you posted and let you know if this works as well as posting tips and tidbits hopefully inspirational as well as useful!<br /><br /><br /><strong>Tip#1</strong>-It's free, it's a place where I can vent, advertise my store items, write about tips that I know and find, and more...it's a done deal! It's a real no-brainier as DOD (Dear Old Dad) puts it! The longest part was the hour or so I spent in limbo when it came time for me to actually name my blog. Note, if you ever decide to start blogging make sure you know way in advance what your going to name your blog!
